Past Funds

Woodside Community Foundation has been involved in many efforts in our community. This is sample of what we've supported/facilitated in the past, however, we are only limited by your ideas and areas of need/support.

Note: These funds are no longer active and links are not live.

This fund provides much-needed help to the women and men who make their livelihood in our greater community and who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope you’ll join us in supporting our local work force with a contribution today.

Thanks to your generous donations to our Woodside Together Fund we raised $10,000. As promised, these donations were matched dollar for dollar by the Woodside Community Foundation and a check for $20,000 was sent to the San Mateo County Strong Fund. The San Mateo County Strong Fund helps struggling individuals, families, small businesses and non-profits throughout the County.

Gratitude Fund

Woodside residents are extremely appreciative of the dedication and commitment that the Robert’s of Woodside employees have demonstrated as front line workers since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis. Their hard work and long hours have allowed Woodsiders to have a safe, clean, well-stocked place to shop that is close to home during the region’s Shelter in Place directive.

This fund provides financial assistance to subsidized child care providers for low-income families in San Mateo County especially in the areas of North Fair Oaks and Redwood City. Access to high-quality child care, essential to our region’s economic vitality, has suffered a major setback with the COVID crisis threatening the health and well-being of our essential workers and their young families. Your help NOW will make a tremendous difference in the lives of many parents, children and employers for years to come.

Woodside Community Theatre

With the success of this year's Community Grant Project, the Foundation is hoping to offer three more $5,000 awards in 2019. Join us in building community by making a contribution to Foundation's 2019 Community Grant Project Fund.

WES COVID-19 Community Coalition Fund

Help ensure all our Woodside Elementary School families pull through these difficult times. We hope you’ll join us in supporting our local students and their families with a contribution today.

B.O.K. Ranch Equestrian Scholarship Fund

B.O.K. Ranch, located at the Woodside Horse Park, is raising funds to cover the cost of providing full inclusion riding lessons to aspiring equestrians referred by the San Mateo County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate on behalf of children in the Foster Care system.

Angel Food Fund

The Angel Food project is a small, mobile food pantry that helps local families/individuals with healthy groceries, and delivers thoughtfully packed bag lunches and snacks to schools, injured veterans, seniors, and the disenfranchised. With heart.

Woodside Community Theatre

The purpose of the Woodside Community Theatre (WCT) Fund is to provide a high-quality theatre experience at an affordable price. We are proud to say that WCT continues to be the least expensive of all the community theatres on the Peninsula.

The Town's gathering place

In 2001, parents came together to solve a major problem in Town. While Woodside is home to many beautiful trails and two County Parks, at that time the only field space available for local sports teams was on the site of Woodside Elementary School.
